HELP US MAKE SPIRITS BRIGHTER THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Nevada Kids Foundation | 6th Annual Holiday Drive

 

The holidays aren't easy for every family. While many of us look forward to traditions, gifts and gathering with loved ones, some parents are simply trying to make sure their children have the basics.

 

The Nevada Kids Foundation Holiday Drive brings our community together to help make the season brighter for children and families across Northern Nevada. For the past five years, this initiative has helped us reach thousands of children and families through holiday gifts and essential items.

 

Donations collected this year will help support our 3rd Annual The Great Haul, a private holiday event where children and families can choose items that are meaningful and needed for their own families.

But the impact doesn't stop at The Great Haul.

 

Items that aren't needed for the event continue to be distributed through our network of schools, shelters, foster programs and community organizations. This allows your donation to continue helping children and families throughout the year.

 

That's the ripple effect of giving.

WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE🎁 Donate New & Unwrapped Items

We are collecting items for children and youth ages 0–18, including:

• Toys, games and books

• Art supplies and activity sets

• Sports equipment

• Warm clothing, socks and shoes

• Bedding, blankets and pillows

• Toiletries and hygiene products

• Diapers, wipes and formula

• Gift cards and monetary donations

💙 Give Online

Monetary donations give us the flexibility to purchase high-need items and fill gaps that donated items cannot. Every dollar helps us provide more support to local children and families.

 

🎄 Choose a Custom-Tagged Angel Ornament

Choose an Angel Ornament and fulfill a specific child's wish — or collect enough ornaments to decorate an entire giving tree and help bring multiple holiday wishes to life.

 

📦 Host a Collection Drive

Bring your workplace, school, business, organization, family or friends together to collect new and unwrapped donations.

 

🤝 Donate In-Kind Goods or Services

Businesses can support the Holiday Drive by donating products, services or other resources that can help us serve more children and families.

 

📣 Spread the Word

Share the Holiday Drive with your friends, family, coworkers and community. Sometimes the greatest gift is helping us connect with someone who wants to help.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

December 12, 2026 — Main Collection Deadline

This is our primary collection deadline and allows our small team time to gather, sort and organize donations in preparation for The Great Haul.

 

December 13–31, 2026 — Giving Continues

The Holiday Drive doesn't end on December 12. We will continue accepting donations through December 31. Items received after The Great Haul will continue to be distributed through our community partners and put to work where they are needed most.

 

There is no bad time to give.
