The Nevada Kids Foundation is proud to present our 5th Annual Making Spirits Brighter Holiday Donation Drive!

For the past four years, this heartwarming initiative has united our community in generosity and compassion—bringing hope, joy, and essential support to thousands of children and families across Northern Nevada. As we enter this year’s season of giving, our mission remains simple: to share the magic of the holidays with as many children as possible while ensuring that local shelters and foster programs have the resources they need long after the season ends.

This annual effort brings together individuals, families, and local businesses to spread warmth and kindness during the winter months. A huge thank you to our Title Sponsors, Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment and Silver State International, for their incredible generosity and continued support!

How You Can Help

We are collecting NEW and UNWRAPPED items for youth ages 0–18, which will be organized and distributed to local shelters, foster homes, and schools across Northern Nevada.

Most Needed Items Include:
• Warm clothing, socks, shoes (all sizes)
• Blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals
• Bed-in-a-bag sets (twin & full)
• Toiletries and hygiene products
• Toys, games, and books
• Art and school supplies
• Diapers, formula, and wipes
• Gift cards & monetary donations

Your contributions—whether monetary, in-kind, or volunteer time—directly impact the lives of children in need, offering them the chance to experience comfort, happiness, and peace during the holiday season.

Ways to Get Involved

• Shop for donations in person or online
• Contribute monetary gifts to help fulfill wish lists
• Sponsor a donation drop-off site at your business or community space
• Host or decorate an Angel Tree featuring gift tags for local youth
• Organize a friendly drive or collection challenge with coworkers, family, or friends
• Contribute in-kind donations of goods or services your company provides

Our goal this year is to provide Christmas Care Packages to more than 500 children across Northern Nevada and to help stock the supply closets of local shelters and foster homes with essentials they can utilize throughout the year.
